Is there a fixed participation fee?

No, the participation fee varies per activity depending on the size of the activity and possible sponsor contributions. The board will always try to offer activities as attractive as possible, taking into account the expected costs.

Can I participate in an activity of the association free of charge?

Yes, there are free places available per activity for students or PhD researchers who can justify their interest in the subject. Requests for a free place can be made via the contact page stating the activity in question, your name, employer or educational institution, position, address and telephone number.

Can I cancel an activity of the association free of charge?

Yes, you can cancel free of charge up to five days prior to the activity in question, unless stated otherwise in the announcement of the activity on the association’s website. For cancellations within this five-day period, 15% of the participation fee will be charged to cover administration costs.

Will I not be charged if I do not participate in a registered activity?

No, if you do not cancel a registered activity, the full participation fee will be charged.
