The VVFR (Association for Financial Law) and NACIIL are organizing a seminar on bank insolvency, in collaboration with the editorial board of the Kluwer *Recht & Praktijk Insolventierecht* (Law & Practice: Insolvency Law) series.
In 2008, legal systems were unprepared for the insolvency of large banks—or potentially multiple banks. Since then, an entirely new legislative framework has been established at both European and national levels. In his book *Banken in Crisis* (Kluwer, R&P 2026), Roel Theissen analyzes the rules governing bank recovery, resolution, and bankruptcy. 14:15 – 14:30 Arrival: coffee and tea
